EVENTS IN THE BAY FEATURING CYS MUSICIANS

NANOSEED BENEFIT CONCERT @ THE HARKER SCHOOL
WHEN:
Friday, March 13 @ 7:00PM
WHERE: Rothschild Performing Arts Center, The Harker School (Upper Campus)

NanoSeed is a student-founded and student-run nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty in rural China, specifically offering student loans, scholarships, and business loans to help kickstart opportunities for aspiring families. Out of the 12 school branches, the Silicon Valley regional division is hosting this benefit concert—a continuation of the grand success last year raising $8000—to reach our immediate community to raise money and awareness for less privileged communities abroad.

Our Senior Orchestra cellist Ms. Elaine Xiao is VP of the NanoSeed team at The Harker School, invites CYS to the annual spring NanoSeed Benefit Concert! NanoSeed is a completely student-founded and student-run nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty in rural China, specifically offering student loans, scholarships, and business loans to help kickstart opportunities for aspiring families (visit the website at nanoseed.org to learn more).

An evening of instrumental music, singing, and dance, the concert includes talented student and professional performers in the area. The venue is Harker's very own Rothschild Performing Arts Center, and the concert will take place on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 7-9pm. On top of that, the concert will also feature Judy Liu, SO harpist, and Ethan Wolff, SO trombonist, and his trombone quartet. We hope you attend the concert and support this organization. All proceeds go directly toward loans and scholarships in China; last year, NanoSeed ultimately serviced 17 students through the efforts of the concert!

Tickets are at tiny.cc/nsconcert, and you may use the code EarlyBird for $5 off before 3/1!
