Natsuki Fukasawa
Guest Soloist
Steinway Artist Natsuki Fukasawa has performed globally including Australia, Brazil, Mexico, China, Japan, Israel, Switzerland, Scandinavia and the U.S. She is a recipient of the Best Chamber Music Recording of the Year from the Danish Music Awards, and has been featured in Sacramento’s CapRadio program Women’s History Month.
This season, Natsuki will appear as a concerto soloist with Camellia Symphony, UC Davis Symphony Orchestra and Diablo Symphony Orchestra. Natsuki is especially happy to return to play with California Youth Symphony and Maestro Eylar. Since 2023, annual trio concert partnered with Sacramento Parkview Presbyterian Church raised more than 25,000 dollars to help with children who have lost their fathers in Ukraine.
Dr. Fukasawa is a Lecturer at the UC Davis and is an artist faculty for the Talis Festival and Academy in Sarajevo. She enjoys nurturing young people in her own private studio, where her students appeared in the NPR show From the Top, winning top prizes in Chopin National Competition, MTAC Young Artist Guild, Philadelphia International Competition, and go on to pursue music in college.
