Henna Lam

Associate Orchestra Concerto Competition Winner

Henna Lam, age 11, is currently a 6th grader at Stone Valley Middle School. She began violin lessons at age 5 with Mrs. Ju-yi Peng. 

She has won numerous solo competitions including U. S. International Music Competition (USIMC), Korean-American Music Supporters’ Association (KAMSA), runner-up for Livermore-Amador Symphony Concerto Competition, Canadian International Music Competition, Opus Music Foundation Competition, American Young Musician Award, and European Odin International Music Competition. Henna also performed with Taichung Youth Orchestra and Taiwan Philharmonic in 2018, and Orchestra Gradus ad Parnassum in 2019.

Henna joined CYS in 2021, and currently serves as the co-concertmaster of the Associate Orchestra. Henna enjoys reading, especially horror stories and real-life mysteries. She also enjoys swimming, traveling and food.
